- Ensure and oversee the clearance procedure of entire cargo range imported into foreign country.
- Work as per the targets of lead time and cost parameters set by Retail Supply Chain Division and ensure smooth shipment flow.
- Two way communication in terms of requirements for product import to Brands and Information presentation to Customs for clearance of Shipments
- To assess and resolve applications within agreed benchmarks. Must be able to analyze information and reach a decision quickly and be able to justify this decision both orally and in writing.
- Clearance Officer is expected to meet challenging daily workload targets.
- To ensure that all correspondence is considered, and reports or replies prepared within target times, in clear and concise English.
- To deal professionally with all callers to the Section, whether on the telephone or in person, ensuring that people are treated fairly and responding sensitively to differences.
