Job Brief:
To supervise all the negations with suppliers and approve the contractual agreement. Ensure applying the policies, procedure and standards.
Work Performed & Major Duties:
• Finalizing policies, procedures and standards (i.e. service level, imports incidence, supplier’s standards, range maintenance, negotiating terms…) for each commercial department.
• Ensuring proper service to all geographies - timely update/communications on processes/standards, visit periodically to share refinements/concerns, …
• Supervising and facilitating coordination of the staff with other functions, in particular Logistics and Designing & Product Development and other areas in supply chain
• Supervising major negotiations with import suppliers and regional suppliers
• Giving final approval on corporate contractual agreements (regional suppliers, import suppliers, …), in coordination with the Supply Chain Head
• Setting the guidelines/processes for imports (suppliers standards, show trades activities, negotiation standards…) in line with the overall merchandise Strategy
• Ensuring proper consolidation of volumes/needs across geographies, also through periodic visits to the other geographies.
Work Contacts:
• Has a frequent contact with all employees in Supply Chain Department, Designers and Suppliers.
