Physiotherapist in Sports Medicine
Job Description:
The person shall be responsible for the below duties:
• Examining and diagnosing injuries.
• Identifying the cause of an injury.
• Devising an individual treatment plan.
• Agreeing realistic timescales for the sportsperson to return to their sport.
• Keeping accurate records of their treatment and progress.
• Discussing the sportsperson's ambitions for the future.
Candidate Profile:
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience
• Should have Masters in Sports Physiotherapy Degree
• Preferred candidates with MOH license from Kuwait
Physiatrist
Job Description:
The person shall be responsible for the below duties:
• Has to diagnose the patient's ailment and start treating accordingly
• Has to treat the patient with therapy and exercises but they are also allowed to prescribe medicines to them
• Has to instruct physical therapists on the treatment of the patient and ensure that all the instructions are followed
• Has to keep a follow up on the patients as the kind of problems they treat never heal overnight, it takes a lot of patience for it to heal completely
• Has to educate the family of the patient and take their help to ensure that the patient is receiving the care at home too
• If treating a sportspersons, he has to ensure confidentiality is maintained about their clientele
Candidate Profile:
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience
• Should hold a doctor of medicine degree or doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree
• Preferred candidates with MOH license from Kuwait
