1. Identification of all requirements during estimation. 2. Estimate the type and amount of materials necessary to deliver the contract against the tender specifications; 3. Estimating the cost of plant and equipment; 4. Working with Managers and Planning Engineers to help predict the timescales of a project, which has a considerable bearing on costs; 5. Establishing the likely progress and completion rates, including allowances for bad weather and other unforeseen circumstances; 6. Calculating a final figure for the estimated cost, supplemented by adjustments for overheads and profit, and presenting a tender price. 7. Estimator should have strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with team members Material received against allowed BOQ quantities sheet updation. 8. Implement Quality Management System requirements. 9. Maintain Quality Record in orderly and accessible manner 10. Excellent working exposure on ISO standardization on Quality Management System (QMS).
