- Participates in the formulation and implementation of the Operations and Maintenance department plans to ensure the alignment with overall objectives and business plans. - Manages the day-to-day operations of Operations and Maintenance department by facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards. - Prepares the Operations and Maintenance unit budget and ensures that the activities within this unit is implemented processed as per the assigned budget - Plans and implements work plan and validate new procedures in order to test, integrate, upgrade or reconfigure the line elements including ideas for improvement to current practices and participate in defining contingency plans. - Maintains an in depth awareness of technical developments, both internally and externally, in order to support the technical requirements of the Unit. - Complies with all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. - Manages the effective achievement of objectives by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff in order to maximize subordinate performance. - Coordinates the work of own area of responsibility with other technical areas, both within and outside the family, ensuring maximum efficiency and compliance with technical strategy and identify process faults and rectify or escalate them appropriately to ensure rapid restoration of production.
