Job purpose: Build business and increase market share through sales by identifying and prospecting, maximizing the sales curve and maintaining relationships with clients.
Key Accountabilities
Sales Focus:
- Identifying business opportunities via identification of prospects and their industry position, researching and analyzing sales options.
- Sell GCG products and services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects and recommending solutions.
- Researching and recommending new opportunities.
- Recommending profit and service improvements.
- Approach sales contacts, research client/project needs and develop viable applications of products and services.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales, participating in sales forecasting and planning.
- Implement sales plans across market as defined by Commercial Manager.
- Adhere to GCG code of conduct and company image when representing GCG to clients and projects.
- Adhere to HSE on all site/project visits.
Market Research:
- Identify product improvements, new products/services, and current market/industry trends, activities and competitors
- Maintain in depth knowledge of processes and
related products in the areas of bust duct, and various electrical products and services.
- Participate in development/modification of new products/services based on market/client feedback.
Relationship Administration:
- Maintain relationships with clients by providing
continuous support, information, and guidance.
- Contribute to team effort and liaising with various departments to determine sales activities, and new
market/project prospects.
Quality of Service:
- Continuous demonstration of technical competence on all GCG products/solutions.
- Maintain quality of service by enforcing set organization standards and GCG quality standards.
- Maintain cooperative and professional communication with all levels of both internal and external clients.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, establishing networks, benchmarking state of the art practices/products/services, and participating activities in professional societies.
- Maintain a proactive approach to all GCG products and services.
