PURPOSE
To repair, service, maintain and install all Mechanical installations and equipment in the sucker rod pumping system.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform maintenance, repair and overhaul of sucker rod pumps as per API.
- Capable in the diagnosis of sucker rod pumping system problems.
- Testing the downhole pump before run in hole.
- Rig up, rig down and maintain surface units for beam pumping system and downhole pumps.
- Perform a variety of maintenance activities such as dismantling, cleaning and assembling, stripping and adjusting sucker rod pumps.
- Performs general housekeeping functions including cleanliness of equipment/machinery.
- Assists in determining need to requisition maintenance supplies spare parts, tools and equipment.
- Capable of identifying of materials and tools required for the job.
- Possesses special skills in the use of hand tools, power tools and precision tools.
