• Responsible for organizing the survey of vehicles as requested by the Claims Desk for Own Damage and Third Party.
• To appoint Surveyors when and where necessary for complicated claims.
• To negotiate with dealers/workshops for vehicle repairs in the best interest of the company.
• To assess constructive total loss for any vehicle in case of substantial damage and vehicle cancellation by the police.
• To deal with salvage buyers, negotiate and obtain the best terms.
• To ensure that established check lists are followed whilst survey and correct and adequate documentation are made available in the claims files.
• Responsible for direct communication to customers regarding status of surveys, in consultation with the departmental head.
• To monitor effectiveness of IT system. Report changes and improvements to the Motor Manager.
• To ensure best of class service quality, processes, system and procedures whilst dealing with the customers, brokers, dealers, garage owners and branches
• To liaise with Brokers, Surveyors, Dealers, Garage owners, Branches in respect of the motor claims surveys.
• To ensure all procedures and claim guidelines are fully adhered to by supporting staff.
• To prepare all statistical information as required in respect of motor survey from time-to-time
