Sub-contracts Manager

The successful candidate will:
- Overseeing the commercial function for Subcontracts with Subcontractors;- Ensure compliance with commercial procedures and that best practice is established, and promote continual improvement to protect Company's commercial position;- Ensure there are adequate commercial resources within the commercial team to meet the needs of the project(s);- Ensure all commercial team members have clear roles, responsibilities, accountability and established authority levels;- Proactively work with each project to understand current commercial issues and provide guidance and direction on commercial matters to achieve a satisfactory resolution of all claims/issues;
The successful candidate will possess the following skill sets:
- A graduate university degree in Law, Business Administration or Engineering.- Minimum 15-17 years of work experience in tendering and finalization of Subcontracts, with predominant experience in the field of post award administration and management of Subcontracts.- Have experience in International markets relevant to the particular field of employment, particularly in the UAE.- Possess strong dispute resolution and claim management experience.- Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with Subcontractors and Company staff.- Possess excellent project management and time management skills.- You must be able to inspire and motivate people to drive the business forward and achieve your goals.- Have strong organizational skills and, particularly, a keen eye for detail.- Excellent interpersonal skills.- Can communicate proficiently and professionally in spoken and written English.- Arabic speaker is preferred
