Plan and supervise the maintenance of our fleet of vehicles and assist mechanics.
- Ensuring all vehicles are road worthy by periodic check all trucks/servicing/ensuring all vehicles pass DOT test and are insured.
- Negotiate with customs personal at borders arising from overweight vehicles and with customs personal regarding problems arising from incorrect documents.
- Purchase spare parts for auto workshop/keep up to date with local companies/technology
- Plan vehicle maintenance schedule/check safety standards of all 3rd party trucks entering facility
- Be up to date with all GCC transportation rules and regulations
- Evaluate the work of mechanics to ensure that repairs meet manufacturer`s specifications.
- Check the status of maintenance and repair work and set priorities
