Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure all reporting & control procedures in the Food Service/ Horeca Dept, customer service & general administration are completed & in place according to the company policy & procedure.
- Establish and oversee the overall sales strategy for food service and coordinate with sales team to ensure annual budgets and objectives are achieved.
- Determine gross profit plans by implementing marketing strategies.
- Negotiate sales contracts, prices and exclusivity agreements with clients and/ or suppliers.
- Resolve contractual/ commercial issues and disputes, monitor quality and customer’s complaints & improve quality of provided food services.
- Manage sales, trade support and spending levels control.
- Maintain & control stock/ inventory levels ad update monthly forecast & future projections’ reports.
- Work closely with the local & overseas buyers to optimize and forecast orders’ quantities.
- Keep abreast of trends, markets and development in the industry.
- Open new channels for new market’s segments and for exports to regional markets and expand customer database.
- Manage supply chain from imports to clients’ delivery point (B2B).
- Analyze SCM via control of purchase, sales and inventory.
- Evaluate the performance of sales team so to take corrective actions and assist each to achieve objectives.
- Ensure sales collections from clients to avoid unforeseen financial losses.
- Manage banking procedures - in coordination with Finance Dept - with all concerned parties “clients, buyers…etc.”.
- Conduct periodic meetings with clients, buyers and departments to ensure smooth operational procedures are taking place on timely basis.
- Provide relevant reports to management and Finance Dept.
- Attend (when required) internal and overseas exhibitions to ensure update with the markets’ trends and knowledge.
- Should be always updated with local & regional markets; trends, advancements, innovative ideas/ developments & local/ overseas fairs.
- Keep an eye on the P&L and ensure expenses cuttings on continuous basis.
- Improve existing/ new sales promotions and initiative.
