- Develop the Company’s inventory strategy with the aim of controlling the stored product inventory, including stock profiles and stock locations;
- Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting/accuracy checks;
- Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete/redundant products;
- Ensure that goods inwards/stock control is well organized to sufficiently support operations;
- Provide regular and routine MI on inventory performance;
- Be responsible for managing and running planned stock takes and perform cycle counts;
- Produce daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the inventory system are controlled and any discrepancies highlighted and resolved;
- Assisting the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team in the management of IT operations on a daily basis;
- Maintaining records and developing reports for the reconciliation of products inventories;
- Ensuring security of the inventory system file through limiting access to the main programs;
- Contributing to improving operations, decreasing turnaround times, streamlining work processes and working cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service;
- Identifying opportunities and potential improvements to existing processes and procedures;
- Identification of shrink reduction opportunities and reporting to Head of Supply Chain Management accordingly.
