- Conduct daily auto mechanic/electrical checkup and inspection to all moving concrete mixer trucks, trailers and concrete mobile pump.
- Perform as mechanic/auto electrical install and repair, adjust brakes assists general overhaul motor engine lights and heavy trucks generators, electromechanical hydraulic system, overhauling and repair starter motors and alternators.
- Respond to emergency vehicle/equipment failure or break downs; take corrective action and make emergency repairs on vehicles or equipment.
- Tune up engines; replace ignition parts; clean and adjust carburetors; install air conditioning and electrical systems.
- Operates and inspects vehicles and other mobile equipment to identify equipment defects, malfunctions and failures. Repairs and replaces damaged and worn parts. Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. These tasks are necessary to ensure smooth company operations.
- Reports defects and damages to supervision.
- Tests and makes adjustments to mechanical components and equipment after repairs or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications and company safety standards.
- Uses a number of sophisticated tools including electrical, hydraulic and engine testing and diagnostic equipment; welding torches; jacks; hoists and hand tools (e.g., wrenches). Uses computer systems to help diagnose the cause of some problems with heavy equipment.
- Fuels and lubricates equipment and performs preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Documents repairs and refurbishments.
- Communicates with the supervisor/foreman regarding parts and repair orders.
- Performs scheduled preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Must be able to work independently and resolve practical problems.
- Must complete process/facility training as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Company Training:
- 1 month training hydraulic mechanic, and how to operate and safety mobile concrete pump.
- 1 week training how to use diagnostic software.
