1 The Audiologist performs the audio logical and vestibular testing of ENT patients referred to them.
2 Performs procedures for tinnitus vertigo treatment.
3 Works under the supervision of consultants/ registrars.
4 Independent accurate testing of patients referred to audiology department.
5 Responsible to provide the highest quality of service to the patients under his/her
care within the resources provided by the program
6 Prepare reports and statistical analysis as required and such reports will be prepared in a timely manner in accordance with the standards within the Department
7 Provides auditory evaluations and education by measuring and studying noise conditions; conducting hearing protection and hearing loss screening programs.
8 Participate in and help establish the educational programs conducted by medical Administration and provide instructions as required to the various departments in the form of a continuing education program.
9 Follows established policies and procedures.
10 Attends regularly scheduled meeting for the improvement of patient care services and delivery.
11 Maintains strictest confidentiality
12 Provide speech therapy as needed, on occasions.
13 Accept all other additional assignments found necessary by the Head of Department
