To manage the activities of quantity surveyors and the administration of the prime contract and subcontracts on a company project.
JOB OBJECTIVES
1. To ensure that the administration of contracts by projects is carried out in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
2. To prepare subcontract agreements and amendments thereto.
3. To monitor the performance of awarded subcontracts, checking, agreeing, and certifying monthly payments and final accounts. Supervising the measurement of works where appropriate.
4. To review and coordinate settlement of claims raised by subcontractors or suppliers.
5. To oversee the preparation of change orders to the prime contract between company and client.
6. To assist with AI’s progress payment applications.
