- Developing and implementing an effective methodology for student counselling
- Assisting in the creation of policies and associated with student counselling, including self-help materials.
- Acting as a key liaison between the students seeking counselling and the relevant members of the College.
- Taking an active role in raising awareness about the importance of student counselling, through participation in student inductions, workshops and other events.
- Developing and maintaining an effective referral system, i.e. a network of people that students should be referred to
- To keep a system of concise and confidential records, and manage confidentiality in a professional manner.
- To analyze the data collected and produce reports relevant to the service
- To perform other generic duties in Student Affairs
