My client, one of the banks in Kuwait, is looking for a General Manager - Retail Banking Division to join their team.
Position Title: General Manager- Retail Banking Division
Reporting to: CEO
Location: Kuwait
Responsibilities:
The General Manager for Retail Banking Division manages the development and performance of all Retail Banking Branches and supporting Units as well as all Virtual Banking Electronic Channels, Card Center, Marketing & Research & Product Development. He collaborates with a team of high-level Managers to ensure that the bank enjoys a leading position in its markets and achieves the profitability levels desired for the division.
Reviews departmental business plans and operating budgets prepared for Retail Banking Division and ensures that they are aligned with the overall business strategy, vision and mission for the bank. Develops the overall RBD Annual Business Plan and seeks the guidance & agreement of the bank's CEO for its implementation.
Reviews and gains agreement to organization structures and manning levels for various RBD areas. Supervises recruitment, training, orientation, motivation and development of all RBD staff to ensure that RBD has necessary skill base required to maximize its potentials and its contribution to overall bank performance.
Develops and reviews operating policies & procedures for reporting of business activities, monitors compliance, initiates corrective actions and seeks continued improvements to ensure business deliver acceptable levels of customer service.
Qualifications:
Minimum 12 years of experience retail banking
Bachelor Degree/Master's Degree
GCC experience preferred
