Main Functions and Objectives
Responsible for providing an efficient service as part of the accounting team for the company accounting function, with key responsibility for the General Ledger, Budgeting, Audit and MIS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fixed Asset Management
- PMV Tracking, Monitoring and Reporting.
- Preparation of Annual Budget and Analysis.
- Preparation for financial audit with coordination as needed.
- Ensuring accurate and timely weekly, monthly, quarterly and year end close processes.
- Raising of Debit Notes to Principals in relation to A&P market spends, frequent follow up for the Receivables from foreign suppliers and charges incurred on POSM/FOC products etc.
- Preparing Expense analysis for various divisions of the company.
- Forecast based Order Procurement Analysis.
- Preparation of Foreign currency transactions analysis and its impact on financial results.
- PMV Tracking, Monitoring and Reporting.
- Balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analysis, Inter Company and other GL accounts reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Timely costing of imported shipments in an accurate manner, analyzing product wise margin to ensure stipulated margins are met.
- Preparing foreign currency transactions analysis and its impact on financial results.
- Weekly reporting of Cash Flow statement and performing daily cash reconciliation.
- Assist in special projects including major receivable analysis, budget preparation and monitoring as assigned.
- Any other responsibilities as allocated by Accounts Controller and Finance Manager as the situation demands.
