1. Ensures continuous source of supply of food and paper products produced to Company specifications through identification, qualification and selection of local and/or pan-regional manufacturers and distributors.
2. Ensures a safe supply of food products through proper selection of, and feedback to, suppliers and coordination of efforts with Q.A. and R&D.
3. Researches and selects the most cost effective supply and logistics methods to minimize food and paper cost.
4. Negotiates pricing with local, regional and international suppliers to minimize food and paper costs.
5. Develops, maintains and/or utilizes management information and reporting systems in fact based decision making.
6. Develops the Purchasing and Distribution pro forma for evaluation of entry into new countries by determining in-country product availability, import availability, logistics and cost.
7. Communicates and counsels inside and outside the organization as a recognized professional resource, to ensure adherence to corporate goals and objectives.
8. Performs other job related duties as may be assigned or required.
9.Identify and source competitively priced materials from existing and new vendors for production
10. Lead coordination of key strategic vendor relationships as well as maintain and drive sourcing/procurement best practices
11.Establish supply chain tools, policies, processes, systems and procedures to continuously improve performance
12.Receive and check incoming product and supply shipments as well as update all inventory records in a complete, accurate and timely manner
13. Ensure materials required to meet production schedule are approved and available for use in a timely manner
14. Structure a SCM organization.
15. Also Provide recommendation to improve the productivity.
16. Take care of return system (for defective or unwanted products)
17. Working with retailers to make sure they received their goods on time and in the right condition.
18. Preparing forecasts and inventories.
19. Recruiting, training and managing a team of supply chain staff
