We are looking for a Private Sector Officer who will contribute in implementing and running specific projects and programme independently. Develop and maintains contacts with authorities and external interlocutors at various levels. Provide advice to the senior management on political and security situation.
He/she will be responsible for:
Analysis, strategy and reporting
• Conduct research and analysis with a view to identifying potential partners from the GCC-based private sectors
• Identify partnership opportunities and devise appropriate approach strategies
• Keep abreast of institutional strategies and policies, in relation to engagement with private sector and the field of innovation
• Ensure integration of institutional themes, campaigns or programme initiatives into its interaction with the private sector
Relationship Management
• Establish and maintain regular contact with broad network of GCC-based charity sector
• Build excellent work relationship with key stakeholders by promoting the ICRC, its activities and programmes.
Process Management
• Responsible for drafting, adjusting and finalising partnership proposals/agreements in coordination with senior management and Geneva
• Ensure regular review and follow-up of all partnership agreements and other relevant commitments made
• Liaise with partners and delegation’s support services and external facilities to organise and run events.
Other Administrative Responsibilities
• Develop a strong grasp of ICRC field programmes and how to access information
• Ensure necessary administrative work is implemented on time
• Provide technical support and coordination work with Dubai-based Partnership Assistant
• Translation and interpretation from English to Arabic and vice versa
