The JOD of the Social Counselor / Psychologist includes but not limited to the below:
- Develop and implement an in-school social service plan, according to the general framework of the school plan and the characteristics and attributes of each grade level.
- Help young students to positively interact with each other and with adult students.
- Help students cope with the physical and psychological changes that some of them have in a certain age
- Assist students to improve their performance to be able to reach their objectives.
- Assist advisory teachers to perform their duties and to supervise students, especially during the homeroom time.
- Follow-up students who have behavioral or academic problems, and investigate their social conditions to develop suitable solutions for each of them.
