Performs all electrical activities and carries out all maintenance activities during unit shutdown assuring that are being completed at minimum time with minimum cost.
• Maintains the maintenance of electrical equipments, instruments, electronic controllers using hand tools and power tools;
• Installs, repairs, and maintains motors, transformers, generators, lights, appliances, circuits, wiring, and other electrical system equipments;
• Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem;
• Optimizes maximum resources available to reduce maintenance cost;
• Studies plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirement and sequence of repairs of installations;
• Inspects electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair;
• Directs and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures;
• Knows and understands relevant safety procedures for handling maintenance activities in safe manner;
• Follows all safety procedures including good housekeeping;
• Reports / corrects unsafe acts and conditions. Inform incidents immediately;
• Cooperates and provides accurate and any useful information during investigation;
• Checks firefighting equipment and report defects.
