1. Responsible for the design, layout and coding of NMH websites.
2. Provides Web site & Intranet application development and support; conducts daily Web site check, handles Web site data change requests and develops new Pages.
3. Aides in Website development, Web site design, Web Site CMS (Content Management Tool development), CSS design, and follows up with relevant departments/individuals for new or updated applications/methodologies/information.
4. Coordinates with Team Lead and IT manager to resolve issues related to NMH internet and Intranet websites and provides support for the same.
5. Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studies and establishes connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
6. Prepares various reports as assigned and per job requirements:
a. Web Site monthly reports
b. Monthly data updating reports
c. Help Desk reports
d. Backups (weekly or on update)
7. Analyzes user requests for changes or enhancement to existing websites, proposes architecture and design solutions for discussion with team lead / IT Manager.
8. Maintains accurate quality control documentation and prepares project progress reports.
9. Diagnoses and trouble-shoots when problems are reported by end-users; analyzes and recommends ‘fixes’ to solve reported problems.
10. Makes presentation or demonstrates software solutions to operational users
11. Provides training to end users in the usage of new, enhanced or modified NMH website /Intranet portal/software’s.
12. Attends telephonic inquiries for assistance with the systems and troubleshoots day-to-day problems faced by end users.
13. Attends to end-users in person, as required, for identification of issues and provides solutions to minor problems in minimum possible time.
14. Interacts with users through various phases of design, development, implementation & maintenance.
15. Maintains daily work progress and time spent on various activities on the assigned project through project charter id.
16. Maintains appropriate Helpdesk records for daily user calls.
17. Maintains weekly and monthly website backups taken from hosted server to local server.
18. Attends departmental and committee meetings as required.
19. Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the IT Manager.
