JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Schedule the training sessions and train the new driver recruits.
• Handle a listing of all drivers on production, staging and training.
• Assure efficient training that prepare drivers in handling and delivering packages within the assigned timings.
• Counsel couriers; develop/implement/monitor adherence to policies and procedures; answer telephonic and written correspondence; interview courier candidates; prepare couriers evaluations.
• Responsible for recruiting of operations staff including full time drivers and part timers.
• Develop/run/analyze daily reports of total number of drivers on production, staging and training.
• Research and develop specifications for vehicles, equipment, supplies and materials.
• Plan/develop and execute a vehicle and equipment replacement schedule when required.
• Maintain equipment records in accordance with region and state local laws, policy or regulation; inventory state inspection.
• Prepare Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly State Police Inspection Report.
• Identify/coordinate training needs for new employees.
• Develop/run/analyze list of criteria for screening/selecting Carriage drivers.
• Create and analyze the list of requirements of a Carriage Operable Driver.
• Report and coordinate driver requirements and shift them between training, staging and production.
• Evaluate drivers and perform re-training when necessary.
• Create accounts for new driver recruits and ensure that all the necessary equipment’s are available in the inventory and follow up with new requests.
• Develop all necessary scheduling for drivers and operations including maintenance and services of vehicles with replacements.
• Meet all necessary KPIs set for driver recruitments to meet operational requirements.
• Perform related work as required.
