The Junior Financial Analyst is responsible for planning, analysis and execution of financial activities by verifying financial documents and analyzing financial documents and transactions.
- Contribute towards the formulation and implementation of financial strategies of the company, in order to achieve the financial goals.
- Monitor and review expenses against budget for corporate and subunits.
- Analyze actuals against budget and prepare variance report.
- Conduct P&L analysis and generate report.
- Act as project audit leader in a hands-on audit role.
- Examine and analyze accounting records to determine financial status of the projects and prepare financial reports concerning operating procedures.
- Assist in providing recommendations that add value and create greater efficiencies with respect to operations and financial reporting.
- Conduct overall risk assessment of the department and develop audit plan.
- Perform assignments related to operational and financial auditing.
- Identify errors and control deficiencies, understand and communicate downstream impact on the business of control deficiencies. Identify and recommend cost savings and improvement opportunities.
- Assist management with the development of corrective action plans and follow-up on completing of corrective actions plans.
- Provide updates and present audit findings and recommendations to management. Ensure opportunities utilization of audit resources.
- Keep descriptiveness, comprehensiveness and accuracy in financial reports.
- Forecast cash flow and available funds for investment.
- Monitor and analyze cost centers and expanses consistently.
