JOB PURPOSE:
The jobholder is responsible to manage and scope out audits and business' key risks and controls. The role will also lead a team's work and resources to produce high quality written reports which detail any issues identified, and contribute to managing the discussion with key business stakeholders:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs the planning and execution of timely operational and financial audits, including special projects, to be presented to the Executive Management.
- Assesses compliance with the set standard requirements, financial accounting, auditing and company policies to ensure company assets are safeguarded.
- Examines and evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of information systems and business controls.
- Determines whether business units are performing their planning, accounting, or, control activities in compliance with management instructions and applicable statements of policy and procedures.
- Reports audit findings and make recommendations for the correction of unsatisfactory conditions, improvements in operations, and reduction in costs.
- Leads and facilitates meetings to discuss audit findings and consulting services with top levels of management.
