My client, a well established bank in Kuwait is currently looking for Reconciliations and Financial Control Unit Head.
Job Title: Reconciliations and Financial Control Unit Head
Location: Kuwait
Reporting to the: Deputy Head of Operations and GM - Operations
Job Purpose:
Plans and builds strategy for effective operation of the Accounts Reconciliation function.
Creates and maintains a motivational environment, coaches, and shares best practices and develops individuals.
Provides guidance, direction and maintain controls for ensuring that the reconciliation of all Nostro, Corona suspense, Inter/Intra and Inter system accounts are performed effectively on a daily/ monthly basis wherever applicable.
Qualifications:
At least 15 years of Banking experience, with at least 6 years in a managerial position.
Plans and builds strategy for effective operation of the Accounts Reconciliation function
Experience preferably GCC Market but not a must
Provides guidance, direction and maintain controls for ensuring that the reconciliation of all Nostro, Corona suspense, Inter/Intra and Inter system accounts
In-depth knowledge of accounting and transaction processing.
