Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Prepare and update Quality & HSE statistical tracking & trending data.
Remain abreast of all relevant QHSE codes, standards & practices
Assist all line managers with Statutory & client requirements pertaining QHSE compliance.
Assist to implement and maintain Certification of ISO 9001 & OHSAS 18001 and for new certification standard approval.
Assist to develop HSE plans that comply with company policies & procedures as well as client requirements.
Provide QHSE manager with feedback on QHSE performance.
Establish and maintain documentation control system in accordance to IMS (Internal & External Audit reports, Corrective/Preventative action, surveillance inspection, reports, Certification, Permits etc..)
Supervise and administrate the HSE documents in all required areas
Prepare & conduct QHSE presentation & training guide to employees as required
Promote a positive company image during the course and scope of the performance of these duties.
Ability to think and use management concepts and principles including goals setting, planning and execution.
Assisting with promoting occupational health and safety awareness;
To develop, implement and monitor Occupational Health and Safety Policy, Programs, and Procedures;
Advising on occupational health and safety problems or obtaining advice on unfamiliar problems from Occupational Health and Safety sources;
Bringing to the attention of staff occupational health and safety hazards associated with their work;
Conducting tool box talks and safety training workshops
Bringing to the attention of the relevant department heads unresolved occupational health and safety problems;
Investigating and reporting on all incidents, injuries and occupational health problems and notifying in-line with reporting requirements;
To respond to employees? safety concerns;
To conduct, as necessary, the safety inspection of any Co. facility;
To act as liaison with all related governmental bodies and regulating agencies;
To coordinate the training of personnel in areas of safety, including first aid, CPR, accident prevention and investigation, work place inspections and other matters related to implementing safety procedures in Co. facilities;
To assist Senior staff, and supervisors in emergency preparedness;
Identify hazards and recommend mitigation and follow-up programs
To assist the management in the fulfillment of its obligations, statutory or otherwise, concerning prevention of personal injuries.
