•Strong analysis and implementation capabilities in Engineering & Petro Technical Applications (Reservoir, Geology, Geophysics, Petrophysics, Petroleum, etc..)
•Proven experience in mapping Fields Development & Exploration users requirements to appropriate applications feathers.
•Ensure smooth running of simulation jobs submitted by Fields Development & Exploration users.
•Manage & maintain High Performance Computing (NPC) environment (hardware, Applications, Storage of data, backup & restore) by pro actively monitoring performance, thresholds & capacities.
•Responsible for providing support / technical advice to Fields Development & Exploration users in head office, off-shore operations, onshore operations, onshore operations & to other business partners
•Responsible for Geological & Geophysical data management using various Petro-Technical Applications.
•Conduct research on new trends in HPC hardware, applications, storage, backup and services and prepare technical/cost analysis to aid management in making decisions.
•Responsible for preparing yearly budget for Engineering & Petro Technical applications, hardware and / or services requirements.
•Preparing of project plans, functionality test plans & user acceptance testing.
•Coordinates with teams on IT Team's behalf for various strategic initiatives.
•Responsible for preparing REP/REQ for the acquisition of new hardware, applications, storage, backup & relevant services, evaluating proposal, making recommendations for award & then managing the contracts.
•Vast knowledge in Project Management by providing task estimates, develop task schedules, & achieve defined task milestones.
