Essential Duties
- Must have a solid electrical foundation.
- Expertise in electronics would be an additional advantage
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial food equipment and/or refrigeration equipment
- Work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated with customer
- Define service problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions about work needed to be performed
- Must have average level of communication skills.
- Effectively communicate with the following:
- Customs - regarding repairs
- Dispatch - regarding status of service
- Parts - to order correct parts
- Field Manager or Senior Service Manager on difficult calls
- Factories as needed for help diagnosing problems with the equipment
