The HR Specialist handles the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource department. The HR Specialist handles the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. The HR Specialist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment.
- Implementing HR policies, procedures & forms.
- Developing and updating job descriptions & organizational chart.
- Managing the company’s vacancies for short term, long term, project based and head office based requirements.
- Sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates.
- Conducting manpower planning throughout the organization.
- Coordinating with various project sites on their requirements.
- Dealing with recruitment agencies locally and oversees.
- Organizing and executing recruitment trips abroad.
- Sourcing new recruitment agencies and researching new target locations for recruitment.
- Overseeing the mobilization process for recruited employees from visa request till arrival in Kuwait.
- Coordinating with the government relations department for visas, residency transfer etc…
- Following up on newly selected employees until the probation period is complete.
- Coordinating with relevant departments for employee accommodation.
- Preparing periodical progress reports on recruitment.
