Accountable for:
- Maintains Code Design, Tests Cases and documentation against Functional Requirements.
- Developing high quality code that meets best practices of Software development Lifecycle.
- Ensures and Maintains Clarity of requirements documentation from the business document is adequate and that principals can meet the stated objectives.
- Ensuring that new solutions fit into the IT architecture, are aligned with the IT strategy and standardized at a regional levelProvides subject matter expertise regarding development while planning for projects.
- Study and assess software development life cycle practices and methodologies, provide awareness and monitor implementation.
- Ensuring & protecting the business automation projects by keeping Projects and Information confidential at all times until release and approved by the management.
Key Roles:
- Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite according to the functional requirements.
- Participate whenever necessary in the software vendor evaluation process.
- Implement best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies.
- Develop, maintain and support programs/tools for internal and external Users.
- Analyze, Diagnose, Investigate operational or systematic problems and user queries as required.
- Documents changes.
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear codeBuild proof of concept examples or graphical simulation softwareAble to customize business applications like Enterprise resource planning systems, Software Oriented Architectures.
- Review & approve projects management plans and documentation to ensure that the IT projects comply with the SDLC process and Project Management deliverable quality perspectives.
- Participate in the software vendor evaluation process.
- Adhere and comply to actively work towards closure of all related audit findings prior to Go live of applications and systems
