TITLE: Officer - Registration MIS
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Manager - Student Data Processing
DEPARTMENT: Admission and Registration
Unit: Student Data Processing
FUNCTION:
• Provide front counter customer service to ACK students and customers, and to provide administrative support to the student registration process at ACK.
• Provide support to the Manager in the daily operations of the unit.
PRIMARY TASKS:
1. Process applications on ACK Registration system and print relevant receipts.
2. Enroll and re-enroll students in their relevant classes/units on the ACK Registration system.
3. Assist students, alumni and faculty with registration processes.
4. Contact and follow up on students concerning their administration.
5. Be responsible for the preparation and administration of ACK student files.
6. Provides comprehensive level of assistance to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
7. Provides high level of administrative and clerical support to the unit.
8. Prioritizes and manages multiple projects simultaneously and follow-up on issues in a timely manner.
9. Collect and prepare background documents for various tasks.
10. Follow the college rules and regulations.
11. Undertakes special projects to meet the objectives of the department.
12. Undertake other duties as required by the Manager.
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY: To ensure that duties are carried out to a satisfactory standard.
DIRECTION/SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Direction and supervision is provided by the Manager - Student Data Processing Unit.
