- Responsible of the production on IT strategy that will support the strategic directions and operational needs of the business.
- Responsible for the production of annual IT budgets in conjunction with the Finance Director/CFO.
- Ensure the optimum use of corporate computer, programs and related peripherals.
- Develop appropriate service level agreements with all areas of the business and with external business partners as required.
- Manage external and internal IT services to ensure that the service levels and costs are maintained in line with the needs of the business.
- Ensure that all operational problems are solved satisfactorily and with minimum impact on the availability of the systems to the business users.
- Analyze the needs of users or departments and prioritize modifications to core system applications.
- Establishes and maintains system security and business recovery plans.
- Contribute to the delivery of IT enabled business projects by providing the necessary services and resources.
- Evaluate, recommend, test and install new technology.
- Prepare annual operating and capital budgets related to IT services.
- Work with IT suppliers on hardware and software problems and escalate unresolved open and outstanding issues to the Finance Director.
- Monitor and report on help desk statistics to ensure service levels are met and appropriate call routing procedures are followed.
- Manage the inventory and all administration associated with computer equipment, software records, license and other documentation.
- Continually maintain and ensure the accuracy of department documentation relating to support procedures for telecommunications, network and applications.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations.
- Assist in perpetual stock management by downloading the stock counts into the central computer and distributing the result of the reports to Retail Operation Management
