Boutique/Showroom manager plans, organizes, co-ordinates and directs the activities of his showroom. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that the showroom and its staff offer excellent customer service, but he is also responsible for ensuring the profitability of the shop as a business. Manager may also undertake cashier duties from time to time to help out the team.
• Responsible with the day-to-day management of the showroom in accordance with the overall company policies and procedures in safety, hygiene and display.
• Meet customer service expectation through regular communication, update of company sales and promotional activities to the key customers, problem resolution, appropriate follow up, accurate and timely response to customer complaints and comments and ensure that positive and friendly attitude are exhibited in the showroom.
• Audit sales report, cash or cash equivalent where he is required to ensure that sales are accounted for, cash is deposited in the company's bank account intact.
• Keep all required paperwork neat, tidy and orderly, and to keep a filing system so that all relevant memos, instructions, and paperwork can easily be found
• Taking responsibility for shop security, and for the internal appearance and ambience of the shop
• Maintain a high standard of display, both in window and inside the shop.
• Ensure staff are taught correct sales procedures and have a good knowledge of the products they sell
• Develop and maintain a high level relationships with customers
• Keep staff updated with brand’s latest product (product knowledge), promotions, marketing,events…etc
• Draw up staff schedules, leaves, attendance timing, overtime….etc and sent it to HRD
• Responsible of the stock/Inventory, transfers of items to and from different POS.
• Monitor stock levels and reports to the brand manager whenever needed
• Keep and analyze records of sales figures and financial transactions, including cash, cheque and credit card transactions
• Implement and oversee security procedures for all showroom related aspects
• Take direct responsibility for the profitability of the Showroom by making sure that the sales staff achieves their sales targets.
• Distribute duties fairly between showroom staff and print a detailed check list with completed & uncompleted tasks
• Hold staff meetings every week to discuss and report about the staff & sales performance
• Responsible for ensuring total compliance to the guidelines on the company standards and disciplines
• feeding ideas for improvements back to head office
• Open and close showroom including arming & disarming alarm and CCTV
