Job Objective
To manage the recruiting and on-boarding of new employees in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides professional support and advice on recruitment to line and department managers .
- Advises managers on best practice recruitment and selection strategies.
- Writes job advertisements and decides how and where jobs are advertised.
- Designs or revises application forms as necessary .
- Prepares recruitment policies, procedures and processes.
- Screens application forms and shortlists applicants for Senior Levels.
- Develops local relationships and coordinates with local and regional search partners.
- Coordinates with local/ overseas recruitment agents to arrange advertisements and interviews.
- Devises, runs and evaluates the applicants through selection processes including interviews, psychometric tests, personality questionnaires and various group activities.
- Stays updated on current employment practises and ensures that line managers are effectively briefed on any relevant changes.
- Runs assessment centres for more senior vacancies.
- Interviews candidates for vacant positions.
- Develops and implements new employee orientation programs.
- Prepares other recruitment materials - for example, brochures and other necessary materials.
- Develops and implements plans to ensure hiring needs are met.
- Prepares an annual manpower budget and recruitment plan for NMC based on approved organization charts.
